Cookie Policy
Effective Date: May 9, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on the website at eltexsoft.com (the “Site”), operated by Icemint LLC d/b/a EltexSoft (“EltexSoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Read this Policy together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website’s operator. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, web beacons, and pixel tags.
We refer to all of these collectively in this Policy as “cookies.”
2. Cookies on this Site
The Site uses a small number of cookies, set either by us (“first-party”) or by the third-party services described below (“third-party”). We group cookies by purpose:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function or to be served securely. These cookies do not require consent.
- Analytics — help us understand aggregate usage of the Site so we can improve it. In jurisdictions that require opt-in consent for analytics cookies (such as the EEA and the UK), these cookies are set only after you give consent.
The Site does not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, session-replay cookies, or heat-mapping cookies.
2.1 Google Analytics 4 (analytics)
Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) is provided by Google LLC. GA4 sets cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visitors and to measure aggregate Site usage. The cookies typically set by GA4 are:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google (scoped to our domain) | Distinguishes unique visitors | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google (scoped to our domain) | Persists session state for the GA4 property | Up to 2 years |
The exact cookie names, durations, and behavior may change as Google updates GA4. For current details, see Google’s documentation: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/ga4/cookies-user-id.
2.2 Cloudflare (strictly necessary, operational)
We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security (including bot mitigation), and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics in its server-side, no-client-script configuration, which does not set cookies in your browser for analytics purposes.
In the course of providing content delivery and security, Cloudflare may set the following operational cookies:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management — distinguishes humans from automated traffic to protect the Site against abuse | Up to 30 minutes from last activity |
_cfuvid | Cloudflare | Supports Cloudflare’s per-visitor rate-limiting features when enabled | Session |
These cookies are classified as strictly necessary because they are used to keep the Site secure and available. They are not used for analytics or advertising. For current details, see: https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/reference/policies-compliances/cloudflare-cookies/.
2.3 Google Fonts (no cookies)
The Site uses the Inter font from Google Fonts, operated by Google LLC. Loading the font causes your browser to make a request to Google’s servers. Google Fonts does not set cookies. However, the request itself discloses your IP address and basic request metadata (such as the user-agent string and the requested font file) to Google. See Section 4.3 of the Privacy Policy for further detail.
3. How to manage cookies
You have several options to manage cookies set by the Site.
3.1 Browser controls
All major browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies. The exact steps vary by browser and version. See:
- Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/
- Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
- Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/help/4027947
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Site to malfunction, including security and bot-mitigation features.
3.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out preference signal where applicable law treats it as such. Most modern browsers also support a Do Not Track signal; we treat a Do Not Track signal as a request to limit non-essential tracking on the device that sent it.
3.3 Opt out of GA4
You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On. This add-on prevents GA4 from setting or reading cookies on sites you visit.
3.4 EEA / UK consent
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law requires opt-in consent for non-essential cookies, analytics cookies (Section 2.1) will be set only after you provide affirmative consent through any cookie preferences interface surfaced on the Site. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser or by changing your preferences.
4. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies in use, to legal requirements, or to our practices. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new “Effective Date.”
