About
Ripe is the everyday farm-to-office meal service providing companies and their people with delicious, freshly-prepared food. It is a B2B platform and catering marketplace, boasting order management, scheduling, and delivery for mid to large-scale businesses.
Challenge
Ripe struggled to scale because of a lack of automation in their daily routine operations related to orders, delivery, and food preparation itself.
Solution:
To help automate the process for their growing business, EltexSoft developed a CRM and web portal to streamline the ordering process by allowing clients to create accounts, view upcoming menus, and place orders.
EltexSoft conducted a thorough business analysis including onsite BA sessions. Ripe already had a web app that was partially developed, but EltexSoft improved and redesigned the entire platform. The web portal is currently in use and Eltexsoft continues to add updates. The platform was developed using PHP, JavaScript, and Python.
The first version of the platform was released in 2017, with major upgrades during the same and following years. As was proposed, Ripe’s clients are now able to easily view and order off of menus and log in to their personal accounts.
Results:
Ripe’s CRM and web-based client dashboard allowed Ripe’s business to scale and efficiently serve a much larger number of clients in a more organized fashion.
In 2016 Ripe used to serve 500 meals per week to companies in Greater NYC but since the implementation of our software, Ripe was able to ramp up to serve more than 10.000 meals per week which is a 500% increase compared to what they did before.
